Fairwood

Fairwood is a term used to describe wood that is produced without destroying the forests in which it is grown and with consideration for the local people and producers. FoE Japan is conducting the Fairwood Partners Program to promote fairwood to companies that use wood and to consumers in general, with the aim of “changing the future through the flow of wood. We conduct surveys of production areas in forests in Japan and overseas to realize environmentally and socially friendly wood use, and propose sustainable wood procurement methods.
