Evacuation

After the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant disaster, more than 160,000 people were forced to leave their home, and more than 30,000 people are still living in evacuation(as of December 2021). There are many evacuees who are not included in this figure. The government and Fukushima Prefecture have been promoting policies to encourage people to return to their homes.
